My story

My Story

I grew up in very conservatives environment where my elder brother came every night after drinking and beat everybody without any cause except me as my great father Sh. Jogi Ram Bhardwaj has been passed away.

I saw all these around eighteen years when I started staying apart from my family. We always have finances problem in the family. My mother thinks 100 times before purchasing anything.

I just want to kick financial problem off, don’t know how to do.

When I started working 2002, as Physics Lecturer and worked hard earns a lot ~ Rs. 17500/- per month (including tuitions) in a small city where you can comfortable runs a family at very nominal expenses, but nothing was left after month gone. I don’t why? We don’t have any idea how to manage the money.

I thought earning high will kick them off, but honestly speaking earning high is not the solution!!!!!!!!!!

And I joined my first Job in NCR in 27th April 2003, and mix with the family again, started side business with my brother and home tuitions and we end up earning around Rs. 65,000/- per month by the end of 2003 and early 2004. What we found ourself that we are still into Debt.

I was quite busy in attending phone calls and relatives and friends think that we are big boys. Honestly speaking we are in Debt.

This goes late 2006 and than we sold our business and started a new one but after a year in late 2007 we sold that too and we are still in Debt in six figure. We still living high.

I again separated from family in start living in Vasant Kunj in New Delhi with a newborn baby and no side income only a job of Rs. 16,000/- per month and a six figure Debt. I was living comfortable and sooner or later Debt will be vanished out. But I was moving without a game plan as I was still living high. I still impressing the people that I am a RICH man, I am no longer a poor man. I was never a poor man but I was a broke. There is a difference between Poor and broke person.

In this period I was searching for the thing, which can shape my life. In this period I heard that reader are the leaders so I start reading lots of books. Some of my friends know me how much I read in day. I start spending the same thing, which I was spending to impress the people of the books I read and tape I listen. I realized that the REAL is life is very hard than REEL life.

We thought that my wife should do some job and we planned some training programme for her but again we are not able to afford that too. Somehow with God grace she managed to get his first job at Rs. 5000/- per month.

January 2008: I am married with a 1.5-year baby and a pile of Debt in six figures and negative Net worth (except inheritance)

October 2010: I am still married with 4 year baby but have a NET worth in Seven Figures (except from inheritance)

Some people ask: How did you you bounce back? We will talk about all these in this blog.
